Some Pros and Cons? (Process Post 10)

This past week has continued to be a week of feeling different. The days seem to blend together and feel the same. As someone who does enjoy being home, I didn’t expect myself to have so much difficulty with adjusting to fully online classes. One thing that I have been trying to do is to maintain a sense of routine in my life. For me, that’s waking up at the same time of day and

Despite feeling rather unmotivated at times, I’ve been trying to take advantage of this change of pace. It’s nice to slow down sometimes and to just relax. This is the perfect time to just reflect. Stay home and do something that you enjoy. Whether that be taking a hot bath or jamming out to your favourite song! It’s important to remember to take care of yourself in this time of uncertainty and fear.

In this week’s lecture, we talked about how different brands are responding to the change that is happening around us. With the situation worsening, many brands are stepping up and offering their help. Big companies like Tesla, Microsoft, and Apple are taking initiatives to help the best they can. Even local brands are stepping up. One brand that really comes to mind when I think about this is the local Vancouver brand Vessi. Not only did they do a campaign offering healthcare providers a free pair of their shoes but have also come out with a “pay what you want” model. You essentially “choose what you pay and donate”.

Like I talked about in last week’s post, I really want to use this time to really make my site into something that I truly love and am proud of. I want my site to grow and truly reflect the individual that I am!
